Moreton Island

DATES: Friday 22nd April 2011 to Monday 25th April 2011.

We normally catch the 3pm or 6pm MiCat on Thursday and return on the Monday on the Midday or 3pm Barge.

All barge and beach permits are to be arranged directly with the MiCat on (07)3909 3333

Camping permits must be obtained from the EPA at the following link.

We beach camp on the eastern side of the island between Blue Lagoon and Eagers Creek.

If you are interested in joining us please let Gary know and he will let you know where we will be camping and add you to the list.

This is not a Tag-a-Long, just a relaxing family trip, if you have never been to Moreton Island before and wish to get the tour of all the beautiful spots Gary can give you a map or take you there as part of a day trip.
Areas we normally visit while on the Island are the Tangalooma Wrecks, Northpoint, Kooringal, Bulwer, The Lighthouse, and Rous Battery just to name a few.

Although we endeavour to find a campsite to accomodate everyone we are unable to guarantee any sites.
We encourage everyone to find an area suitable to there needs

THE BULWER STORE IS STILL OPEN FOR BASIC SUPPLIES

All our staff have comprehensive knowledge of all things Jeep, every one of our staff has at some
stage owned and Jeep and most still do or wish they did.

We stock a range of Mopar parts and accessories and only use genuine filters and parts when servicing your Jeep.

We currently have a JK Wrangler 4 Door a WH Grand Cherokee and an XJ Cherokee that have been fitted out with ARB 4×4 Accessories and have experimented with different suspension systems to acheive the best possible results both on and off road for both vehicles.
We are currently looking into a roof rack system for the JK Wrangler Hard Top other than a Rhino system to hopefully accept a roof top tent or similar.
